What is a good Singapore website for me to do travel planning? A good website to find details and deals on tour packages, flights, hotels, cruises etc?
Makansutra.com is great for food. particularly street food and hawker centers, the secrets of Geylang.
And that's what you should be doing in Singapore anyway. eating .
Here are two good websites I personally used to plan trips all around South East Asia: http://www.tripinasia.com/ (w/ great posts explaining you everything) and http://www.flocations.com. If you're looking for something specific like Bali, here is the best blog (http://blog.villa-bali.com/) possible about this incredible island.
check out govoyagin.com i haven't tried it yet but it looks very interesting. there are very special activities offered there by local "guides" like booking a seat at the Jiro's sushi bar or the robot restaurant in Tokyo... they also cover singapore...
Hi! Have a look at asiarooms.com and airbnb.com.sg
Accommodation in Singapore is pricey for what you get. We used Booking.com last month and got a good deal at the Four Seasons. Worth every penny.
I would also recommend websites like http://tripzilla.sg/ for different travel deals in Singapore, and http://www.cneholidays.com/ a website maintained by one of the pioneering local travel agencies. You can see itineraries available to different destinations that you may copy for your own travel plan.
