I will be driving. Good beaches there? Art museums, things of interest? Are modern style homes permitted? Is rammed earth home permitted? What are residential neighborhoods like? Any special short hikes?
Not exactly a metropolitan area but we passed through Sequim on our way to Vancouver Island and the rain forest. Lovely small town with friendly folks close to outdoorsy attractions like Hurricane Ridge and not too far from Washington's west coast and Rialto beach.
