Seattle to San Francisco recommend route

Hi, we’re looking to drive from Seattle to San Francisco and we have approx 6 days. Ideally the route would go through the national parks. Any recommended routes?
Thanks John

Hey John,
Hwy 101 is a beautiful drive, but since you have just 6 days I'd suggest taking I-5 to Grants Pass then 199 to Crescent City. The Redwood National Park is worth the trip. Then travel south on 101. Take 101 through Eureka and Ukiah. Cut over to 128 and follow it throught the wine country through Calistoga cut off on 29 and head to Napa. Then follow 37 through the wetlands along the upper Bay to connect with 101. Follow 101 into San Francisco over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Enjoy the drive.
