Looking for restaurant recommendations (breakfast, lunch and dinner) within walking distance from The Edgewater Hotel in downtown Seattle. Would like to try local or unique eateries as opposed to chains (can get those at home!) and there's few cuisines I don't like. Thanks for your help!
Edgewater Hotel is a great place to base out of.
I'd aim for Boat Street Cafe - great for brunch all week. They also have lunch/dinner. It's french-slanted, but pretty affordable.
It's also near to Olympic Sculpture Park, which is great to walk thru.
Tilikum Place is also a great restaurant (lunch and dinner during the week, brunch from 8:30 on weekends). It has a small-but-great menu with a semi-upscale northwest flair.
Macrina Bakery is a great bet for weekday breakfasts on your way to Pike Place Market.
For dinner, I'd also definitely hit List - small plate italian stuff.
For a longer walk in the other direction, try cajun/creole awesomeness at Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge
(you could go by way of the Space Needle, which is pretty at night)
