There may be, but I recommend you schedule more time for the Grand Canyon than that. Unless all you want to do is peer over the edge, have a nice lunch and drive back home. Scottsdale / Phoenix is 3.5 hours away by car, so that's 7 hours you'll spend on the road to get there and back. In my opinion, the canyon is best appreciated in the early morning or evening when the light is at its best and the crowds are at their minimum. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the rim are always a treat, and with more time you can visit multiple vistas along the south rim and take short hikes into the canyon. A good, fairly easy one is the South Kaibab Trail to Ooh Aah Point and back. If you're feeling REALLY intrepid, hike the Bright Angel Trail to Indian Gardens (plan on a full day for this and start early). Be sure to carry plenty of water with you, and food if you'll be in the canyon for more than a few hours.
