Hey Jay!

I suggest you for the first day to get a free walking tour in Plaza de Armas or in front of Fine Arts Museum

In plaza de armas also you can get some maps in case that you prefer to visit the city alone. Don`t forget to visit San Cristóbal or Santa Lucía Hill to get some great pics to the Andes(San Cristobal is better)

The next day you can go to a winnery (Concha y Toro or Viña Cousiño Macul) To Cousiño you can go using the subway (Linea 4) and to Concha y Toro you will need a bus. If you decided to take a taxi from Las mercedes metro station you can get (don`t pay more than 4.000 chilean pesos)

hope you enjoyed Santiago! :)

Jay, it depends on your taste. You might walk downtown (government palace La Moneda), Santa Lucía HillBellas ArtesParque ForestalSan Cristóbal Hilll. This is half a day. In a car you go to several places in the seaside (Viña del Mar and Valparaiso) and visit some vineyard in the same trip in Casablanca Valley. This could mean a whole day. Museo Precolombino Y Colonial is interesting (downtown).
