Flying up to San Jose to catch a Packer's game (the 49ers will be there, too) at Levi's Stadium. I tend to get hung up trying to figure out new public transportation systems. Is there an easy to figure out public transit to the stadium or should we just do an Uber?
Take the VTA light rail to Levi's Stadium. There is a free shuttle (route 10) that can take you to Levi's Stadium. For more info and maps and schedule:
or take Uber. My friend drives Uber and he said that San Jose Airport allows Uber now (just a month ago).
It's not that far. I think you could treat yourself to an Uber -- if Uber is allowed at the San Jose airport. In other words, I don't know.
Pro tip: If you want advice from people in San Jose, don't slight the 49ers.
Also, the mac & cheese at the stadium's Bourbon Steak & Pub is quite good.
Depends on where will you be staying.
There is a rail stop right in front of the Levi's Stadium but those trains run really slow. (Not like other big city subway systems) I would suggest Uber to the stadium and on the way back, take the rail and grab uber somewhere further from the chaos.
Just do an Uber. It's cheap and close. If you're renting a car, it's also not a problem.
