Best place to meet a local at a bar?

Just moved to the area and curious to find out the best bars/restaurants to meet local people to learn more about the area?

There are many bars in San Mateo! Downtown is vibrant and any bar on South B Street is the best. There is a great used book store called B Street Books. I love stopping by on my way to meet friends for a drink!

There is a perfect place I like the most. Especially to have a brunch.

It's called KitchenTown and it's right next to 101 freeway. I'm 100% sure you'll meet locals.

BTW, it's very clean, spacious and very tasty.

Hope you like it, it was favorite place during our stay in San Mateo.
