A few 18 year old girls will be headed to California after graduation in June. We will only have about 4 days and would like ideas of places to go & things to do in L.A. and San Francisco. Thank you!
Drive the Pacific Coast Highway -- ideally all the way from San Francisco to Los Angeles, but if not, at very least go out Highway 92 to Half Moon Bay, then head south to Pescadero State Beach -- not great for swimming, but just a beautiful place to commune with nature. If you get a chance, stop in Big Sur. It's gorgeous.
Best view of San Francisco is from the Marin Headlands, just across the Golden Gate Bridge.
Hang out in Golden Gate Park. Bring rollerblades. Seriously. If you have a car in SF, take a few minutes to do the drive down Lombard Street. One of the touristiest things you can do, but totally worth it.
Do NOT bother going to Fisherman's Wharf. There's nothing very interesting there.
Want a culinary adventure and like oysters? Go up into Marin County and head for Marshall. The other obvious destination there is Muir Woods National Monument -- if you love nature.
I'm honestly not a big fan of LA, but Santa Monica is nearby and a nice place to get some sun. I'm told Venice Beach and Boardwalk is a not-to-be-missed freak show, but I haven't been. If you go to Hollywood, be prepared to be underwhelmed. It's a lot smaller than you think and the street hustlers turn me off.

Definitely (Disneyland Park and California Adventure) Other day you can visit Sunset Blvd and shopping malls. You can also visit coffee shops ( to see if any Hollywood star gets coffee) And houses in Beverly Hills .

Nice!
You definitely need to go to Sausalito and walk through the Golden Gate Bridge . The bars at The Castro are very cool. You just need to take care and choose a good hotel with good location and private transportation services like ShuttleWizard or Lyft.
Enjoy your trip!

Go to the Vallejo - San Francisco Pier 41 pier and see the seals. Eat at Tarantino's Restaurant. And buy sourdough bread. And what about Lombard Street. It is the one with all the curves going downhill. Real fun
