The planning for the boys trip continues. We are big fans of American BBQ (all regional variations so far). What recommendations do people have for BBQ restaurants in SF, NY and Orlando?
San Francisco (California) Manhattan (New York) Orlando (Florida)
For New York
Hands Down its Mighty Quinn's Barbeque. Ask for Alex Smith. Tell him Matt Orlando from Amass Sent you. Get ready for a serious case of the meat sweats
Really love and recommend 4505 Burgers & BBQ here in San Francisco. Literally the best burger I've ever had, and the BBQ is loved by locals, visitors, and the press.
For a taste (haha, pun intended), check out their Instagram profile. It's chock full of drool-worthy meat dishes!: https://instagram.com/4505meats/
For New York, Fette Sau in Brooklyn should be worth the visit. Also, there is the famous Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Harlem.

In NY it would be Fette Sau in Brooklyn or Mighty Quinn's Barbeque in the East Village.

The best BBQ in Orlando is 4 Rivers Smokehouse, IMO. The brisket is tender and delicious and the sides are very tasty, too. Beware of long lines during normal lunch and dinner hours though.
Dinosaur Bar-B-Quein Harlem is awesome. If you are in town during hockey season there is another Dinosaur BBQ right outside of Prudential Centerin Newark (NJ). Great place to grab a meal before a Devils game.

Mighty Quinn- Mighty Quinn's Barbeque we like the east village location, NYC, quick walk to Mercury Lounge after for music. In SF, Farmerbrown Restaurant (Farmer Browns) the neighborhood is a little sketchy but the fried chicken will change your life!

Best BBQ in NYC is Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (or this location Dinosaur Bar-B-Que). Great ribs, world class pulled pork and mac and cheese. Just don't bother with the smoked prime rib.
