What are the best places to visit in San Diego?

What are the best places to visit in San Diego? Staying 4 days from Oct. 23rd to Oct. 26th.  Love nature, music, and I heard about an old city in SD...

A trolley tour is a great activity to do early on so you can see a lot and decide which to go back to for more. The on and off privileges allow you to stop in Seaport Village for some shopping, grab a drink at the beachside Coronado Beach Resort , and lunch or dinner in Little Italy. Plus you get to see beautiful Balboa Park. The tour starts and ends in Old Town so be sure to save room for some chips and guac and a margarita. Head up to La Jolla another day for an electric bike or Segway Tour, stop and see the Seals and Sea Lions, and take a sunset hike at Torrey Pines Rd.

Great answer, Megan! Was in SD not too long ago and loved these spots! By the way, I'm a community manager here and I've helped you highlight the places in your answer on a map! In the future, you can do this yourself as you answer a question by simply typing the @-symbol followed by the name of the place. Take a look at your map next to your answer :)

I don't know much about the music scene in San Diego but for the nature lover I would recommend taking a walk in Balboa Park, visiting the tide pools at Cabrillo National Monument and if you have the time, taking a trip to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
