Need a Great Whiskey Bar In San Diego

I love whiskey, and I love chill bars with great whiskey. Help me find this perfect marriage while I'm in SD this weekend!

San Diego (California)

There's an easy to find dive bar that should easily fill those requirements. The Aero Club Bar (The Aero Club) has over 800 Whiskeys and the atmosphere is, indeed, very chill. There's also easy access to the highway and it's only a few blocks form the airport.

Check out Seven Grand in North Park. (website)

Whiskey bar in a cool part of town. Enthusiastic, helpful bartenders with great whiskey knowledge. One of my favorite bars in the area.

Check out 675 W Beech St, San Diego, CA 92101  Craft & Commerce. They don't carry many name brand booze labels and have a cool atmosphere. Usually find some fun new whiskeys to try when there. Food is good too. They also have a more beer focused place called Neighborhood that is also worth a visit. I don't go to SD without hitting up one of these spots. Cheers!

Love the names of these whiskey bars! I'm headed to San Diego next month and I know where I'll be stopping for a refresher after the beach :)

While it's not considered a whiskey bar, per se, Polite Provisions is a fantastic craft cocktail bar with a great vibe. They usually have a proprietary barrel of something from a whiskey distiller. Also try the The Lion's Share for great cocktails, chill bar, and excellent food.

Seven Grand or Sycamore Den in Normal Heights would be my best bet.
