Mission Valley or El Cajon or Del Mar

Question

We are considering visiting San Diego next month and will stay at a Hilton property - either Hilton Garden or Hampton Inn Suites. Looking at three areas to stay and want to know convenience and neighborhood information. Must be relatively convenient to all touristy spots. Appreciate any opinions.

Mission valley is a great location to stay, and you will be close enough to a lot of attractions. The zoo is just a few minutes away. Old Town San Diego has a lot of culture and great food. Point Loma is beautiful and sea port village. Downtown San diego is just right nearby too. The Midway Museum is quite a spectacular experience. Little Italy is right there as well. Happy Visiting. I love San Diego.
