Best place to grab a California burrito in SD?

I've been hearing the tales of this French fries-filled magical-ness for some time now, yet have somehow never had one, and what better place to have one than the place that invented it while I'm in town?!  So what's the go-to place for this?  And if there are several, I wouldn't mind going on a crawl.  Thanks!

Debbie, you probably won't believe this, but probably the best burrito spot that I've come across in San Diego is to be found in a food truck. In particular, the Mariscos Food Truck parked at a liquor store on Texas St. between Meade and Monroe Streets in a neighborhood called University Heights.  I think the truck is called Kiko's Fish Taco Truck,  but I could be wrong.   Great seafood -- their tacos and burritos are first-class and reasonably priced.   And it may be among your memorable burrito lunch you've eaten.   It is usually there until about 5pm or so.

I'm not a big fan of the California Burrito, but lots of people like the one at Miguel's Cocina.  But if you want the best fast food Carne Asada (Burrito, Quesadilla, or Chips) in San Diego, you have to try Adalberto's Mexican Food 1868 Rosecrans St
San Diego, CA 92106.
