You'll love San Diego! Here are plenty of options for you.

Do a day in North County driving along the 101 going through Del Mar, Solana Beach and Encinitas. You can stop in Encinitas to eat lunch, look in the surf shops and go to the Self-Realization Fellowship Gardens which overlooks the Ocean. If you like to hike, go to Torrey Pines

Do a day in La Jolla. Go the the La Jolla Cove. Eat at George's At The Cove which has a fantastic view of the water. Walk down and see the hundreds of seals and sea lions.

Get Fish Tacos in Ocean Beach South Beach Bar & Grille. Head to Pacific Beach - walk along the boardwalk and have some drinks in the area bars. This is definitely a good area if you're in your 20's. You might also want to check out Mission Beach. You can do breakfast at The Mission

Go to Point Loma, eat lunch at Tender Greens and visit Cabrillo National Monument. The monument is not that interesting, but the tide pool walk is my favorite spot in San Diego.

Go to Coronado Island. Go down the main st. Orange Ave. Visit the Hotel Del Coronadoand have a cocktail. Go to the beach and then walk around the lovely houses around there.

Go to Little Italyfor dinner. Then head to the Gaslamp Quarter for nightlife.

On one day you can visit the San Diego Zooand Balboa ParkEl Prado is a go lunch spot in the park and there are many museums.

Definitely get a California burrito from any local mexican food joint but my personal favorites are Rico's Taco Shop and Roberto's Taco Shop! Also there are usually groupons for brewery tours in the area for Stone Brewing Tap Room and Green Flash Brewing Company if you are a beer drinker! Gaslamp Quarter along 4th street in Downtown San Diego is cool for night life and there is this alice and wonder land themed bar/ restaurant called Vin De Syrah Spirit & Wine Parlor that is totally cool and low key! Potato Chip Rock and Torrey Pines Rd trails in La Jolla are great hikes if you are also in to that. Also Balboa Park is a great area with cool museums and near the zoo! Hope this helps have an awesome time!

Gaslamp Quarter in Downtown San Diego. It's an entire strip of bars and spots to dine. It's a fun filled night! Best brunch try Hash House a-Go-Go or Snooze, an A.M. Eatery. Must check out Vin De Syrah Spirit & Wine Parlor. Its a wine bar and its so cute inside looks like alice in wonderland.

Visiting La Jolla Cove is a must!  It's so beautiful and surrounded by great shopping and restaurants.

If you like Mexican Food, you have to eat at Rubio's.  They're all over San Diego and the Fish Taco's are the best in the world!

If you're somewhat of a daredevil, you should try hang gliding at Torrey Pines Gliderport, there's no better way to see San Diego!

Finally, for the best sea food dinner on earth, visit The Fish Market and after take a stroll in  down town San Diego.

But be warned!  Once you visit, it's really difficult to forget.  With the beautiful beaches, great food, fun night life, endless adventures in and around, and beautiful weather all year long...most people leave San Diego vowing that someday they will call it home.  Enjoy!
