any outstanding restaurant in salzburg, one i should definitely try?
Salzburg has a good group of restaurants, but they run a huge gamut in terms of price, atmosphere and what's served.
For instance, Augustinerbräu - Kloster Mülln is a beer hall within a monastery, but you buy the food from different vendors and then take it (and your beer) to a table yourself. It's a great experience, though—one of my favorites.
Salzburg's cafe culture is an important part of any visit, too. Café Tomaselli and Café-Konditorei Fürst are probably the most famous (deservedly) but smaller ones like Schatz-Konditorei or, my personal favorite, Cafe Fingerlos J.M. Fingerlos are dotted all around town.
I haven't been, personally, but Esszimmer is much beloved and could be worth your time!
