Kevin from Waterford, Connecticut asked

Dining, Beach and Boating in St Augustine?

Headed to St Augustine for a wedding on Memorial Day Weekend.  Staying in the heart of town.  Could use guidance for 4 couples on good, non-touristy restaurants, and where to go to the beach - any good pay by the day clubs?

Also - is there anywhere to rent a boat?

Thanks

Saint Augustine

It's the oldest city in the United States so be a tourist and go to the Castillo De San Marcos National Monument drink sangria at  Sangrias Wine & Tapas Piano Bar walk St George Street and listen to music The Conch House then u will have done the best things .... ps there is a Marian at the conch house to rent your boat, and all the tourist stuff is very charming.

Dinner at Casa Maya, delicious food and great atmosphere, and dessert at The Hyppo.  The Anastasia State Park has a great beach or head south out of town towards Matanzas Innlet for a quiet beautiful location
