Sacramento to Santa Barbara is just under 400 miles.
Use satellite view (and, possibly, streetview) on   to check this route to see if it's ok for your motorcycle:
1. Take the I-80 (SW) from Sacramento , passing through or near Davis and Vacaville.  After roughly 48 miles take exit 40 right to join I-680 (S).
2. Follow I-680 (S) towards San Jose for about 75 miles, passing over the Benicia-Martinez Bridge (toll) and through or near Pleasant Hill (California) and San Ramon.
3. Stay on I-680 through the outskirts of San Jose then leave (left) at exit 18 to take the 101.
4. Stay on the 101 for the remaining 250+ miles into Santa Barbara , passing through or near GilroySoledadPaso RoblesSan Luis ObispoGaviota (California) and Santa Barbara Airport.
