Lourdes
Miami
Hi there,
I will be leaving to the airport on a Sunday morning at 2:30 a.m. and want to pull a late night on Saturday in Rome, I am just not sure of what to do.
Any suggestions on nightlife in Rome I shouldn't miss?
FYI: I will be there on my honeymoon in early June.
Thanks!
In June it should be warm so you can just walk around and have an epic romantic night in the city!!
The square over at the Pantheon is a great place to hangout, people watch, and eat gelato well into the evening.
For the best preparation: watch Roman Holiday before you go to get in the right frame of mind.
If you like live music, you can try a few bars like BlackMarket in Monti. Also in this neighborhood the locals just hang out in Piazza della Madonna dei Montidrinking cheap beers from the shop on the corner and usually there is more than one impromptu concert in the square.
Pigneto is also great for drinking, eating and hanging out on the main drag. There are a few places with live music as well, like 'na cosetta or YEAH Pigneto and many more.
If you have to jump in a cab or get the bus to the airport in the middle of the night, Monti is probably your best bet since it's more central and very easy to catch a cab in.
Have fun!

Hi Lourdes,
Actually someone just recently suggested this Apertivo bar Freni e Frizioni ( http://www.freniefrizioni.com/#menu) It seems to get a decent crowd and has a great drink variety! Also, some family friends always seems to hang out in the Pigneto area. This is very artisty (almost like Williamsburg Brooklyn) but it is said to be a great late night area!
Hope that helps and Buon Viaggio!
