Most unique romantic dinner/lunch/breakie in Rome/Tuscany/Florence/Venice?

I am traveling to Italy in a couple weeks and was looking to book a super unique romantic dinner/lunch/breakfast while we are there.  Looking for recommendations.

Last year, in Thailand, we did the Private Dining at the Four Seasons in Chiang Mai which was fantastic.

It doesn't need to be expensive.

We were in Florence this summer, and we went to Montalcino for lunch at Boccon Di Vino. The views were unreal over looking the valley, and the wine/food was amazing. It's a Michelin star type of experience. One of the highlights of our trip.

This is what it looked like the day we were there we were having lunch with Jason. Pic orginally posted here

In Rome you can't beat the terrace of Aroma Restaurant in the Palazzo Manfredi for romance.  The spectacular view of the Colosseum is stunning at sunset, and as night falls, the ancient structure is bathed in dramatic lighting.  (Oh, and the food is amazing!)

  1. Rome (city)
  2. Aroma Restaurant (restaurant)
  3. Palazzo Manfredi (hotel)

In Venice, rather than sticking to the tourist areas near the Grand Canal, we enjoyed a very nice meal at the Bacaromi Restaurant restaurant at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice.  There's also an outpost of Harry's, Harry's Dolci nearby as well for a well-placed pre-dinner Bellini (or your meal itself).  Both places offer al-fresco dining (in season I presume) and nice views across to the city.  Afterwards, stop up at the rooftop bar of the Hilton for an after-dinner drink with a view.

  2. Harry's Dolci (restaurant)
  3. Bacaromi Restaurant (restaurant)
