Must sees & restaurants during 2 weeks road trip in the Atlantic provinces

My husband and I will be driving around the Atlantic Provinces for 2 weeks this summer.  Looking for suggestions on must sees and restaurant recommendations.  We will be in Quebec City, St. Andrew's-by-the-Sea, St. John, Annapolis Royal, Lunenburg, Halifax, Cape Breton, PEI and Bay of Fundy.  Thanks!

If you are in Annapolis Royal around lunchtime, stop in at Leo's Cafe on the main street. Great sandwiches, soups and homemade desserts like pies!  If you are into historical sites, visit Fort Anne which is right in Annapolis.

When around Lunenburg area, you might want to also go to the picturesque little village of Mahone Bay.  A few shops and beautiful waterside.

you could check out The Port Pub and Bistro restaurant in Port Williams around the Bay of Fundy. I guess the reviews are a bit varied on this one.

Halifax-  make your way to the Waterfront area. great views, shops and Seafood. Not sure what to recommend for a restaurant. Also they have a fun market in the old Alexander Keith's Nova Scotia Brewery building. Local foods, crafts, etc. very enjoyable if that interests you.

Farmers market at the Brewery is on Saturdays only, I believe.

I loved Halifax! You will love it too!

I was there for a few weeks during summer...

It's a small city so you will get to see most of it during your stay..

You must see Point Pleasant Park, Halifax Harbour (2nd largest after Sydney) there are great restaurants all along the shore, the Halifax Citadel, Halifax Public Gardens and shopping on Spring Garden Rd. and also if you have the chance you should visit Melville Island and close by there's the Frog Pond with nice walking trails.

Enjoy your vacation,

Halifax you must go to 2 Doors Down or Chives Canadian Bistro! They're owned by the same owner, and everything is completely locally produced! I absolutely love the relaxed vibe. Also make sure to check out the farmers market on Saturday!!

I live on Digby Neck and its beautiful here. The Bay of Fundy has many Whale Watch tours and there is so many scenic trails here like Balancing Rock. I would recommend Lavena's Catch Cafe as the place to eat here on Long Island as it has been getting a lot of wonderful reviews and has so much good food! Hope this helps!
