My mom and I are going to be in Prague this May. It's her second time visiting there so we know about the main touristic attractions. Are there any special attractions we can visit or fun things to do that are less touristy?
We also love bakeries so any recommendations on that would be great!
If you and your mom like to eat and try local cuisine, I would definitely recommend checking out tours with Taste of Prague. It's a great walking/eating tour with locals and you get to try great food with Prague history and fun info thrown in. Check out their website and their blog - they have tons of great posts about where to eat in Prague. Café Savoy is an iconic restaurant in Prague with lots of great pastries and a beautiful interior. Here's a post from Taste of Prague with a great round-up of pastries in Prague (http://www.tasteofprague.com/pragueblog/where-to-go-for-pastries-in-prague)
depends on your interests: Are you an architecture or history buff? Or do you prefer sports? Or more beer & food? Are you looking for something adventurous or relaxing? Prague has a lot to offer to everyone ;-)
Have a great time in Prague!
