Walk around the St. Vitus Cathedral/castle complex and down the hill to the neighborhood underneath the castle. Tons of little restaurants and pretty little streets. You can walk across the Karlův most | Charles Bridge really easily from there and straight into Old Town. You can go up the tower in Old Town Square for a cool view of the square. If you are going soon (when the weather is nice), I would suggest making a picnic and going to Letná Park... it overlooks the whole city and is really beautiful...they have a beer garden there too. My favorite museum is the Alfons Mucha Museum which is right near Wenceslas Square. If you are interested I can give you some good restaurant recommendations too! The city is so beautiful and very small so a good way to spend the day is just with a map and walk around-- you will see so many beautiful buildings and streets and it is fun to just wander around. Are you guys interested in bars/nightclubs at all? There are lots of good, old breweries too. Let me know if you want more information on any of these things!

Have just been researching this myself for an upcoming trip. Whilst not strictly in Prague, I think a day trip or half day trip out to the Sedlec Ossuary in Kutna Hora is well worth doing (it's an old bone church putting it very simply) Also if you have time spare (hard to imagine in 4 days but never know) then maybe a train trip down to Cesky Krumlov might be a good way to go. Stunning scenery. There is also an underground tour in Prague that looks exceptional. This is the main one i've found so far but im am sure there are possibly others . You'll get some nice pics on/from Kampa Island (off the Charles Bridge). Not sure if still dotted around the place but I looked at a walk to see the range of sculptures dotted around.  Hope this gives a couple of ideas.

You must go to the Pivní Lázně Spa Beerland. You get unlimited beer from two taps while you soak in hops and then you are wrapped up in heated blankets for another 20 minutes. It's great. Also, I suggest you do a Segway tour and see alot of sights in one day. You will do the Lennon wall, see some interesting sculptures and parks, and see the castle. If you don't have a hotel yet, I strongly recommend the Prague City Apartments Residence Karolina Světlá. It's roomy, very secure, modern with a washer/dryer and it is cheap. One of the best values I have had while traveling.
