Hip hotels in Portland?

Visiting friends in Portland this November and some of us need a place to stay. I know Portland has its fair share of hip and trendy restaurants and shops, but what about any quirky/cool hotels? Only staying for two nights, so willing to splurge a little.

I would check out the Ace Hotel Portland or Hotel Lucia if you want funky check out Caravan - The Tiny House Hotel (this place is a bunch of styled trailers in the Alberta Arts district). I would choose Ace most likely as I have heard bad things about Lucia's Service. If you need ideas on restaurants and bars, happy to help.

The Nines, Portland and Hotel Fifty are both good choices.  Of the two, I'd go with the Nines, which has a pretty killer rooftop bar.

For quirky/cool hotels in Portland, the main one that comes to mind is the Jupiter Hotel (Jupiter Hotel).  It isn't fancy, but it's very quirky, and very Portland.
