Staying at an Airbnb in Northeast Portland.
Thanks in advance!
1. Absolute must is Tilt for burgers, literally the BEST burgers in Portland.
2. 10 Barrel Brewing has the best beer- if you like IPA's then get their Pearl IPA and its way cheaper to buy a pitcher of beer there.
3. Laurelwood Public House & Brewery and Breakside Brewery are two other great breweries- must try! Laurelwood has a good happy hour.
4. Hopworks Urban Brewery (a pizza and beer spot) has a great lunch time menu, large pieces of pizza and beer for super cheap.
5. Olympic Provisions is great for breakfast and they have bottomless mimosas for breakfast.
6. THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN OF YOUR LIFE is at Screen Door. They have been rated best restaurant in Portland many times. The wait can get crazy though. They open at 6PM and close at midnight. I would recommend going and waiting in line at 5PM (because there will be a line) or go late at like 9 when the crowd begins to die down.
7. Fire On the Mountain Buffalo Wings has great beer and wings.

Agree about skipping Voodoo in favor of Blue Star Donuts. Make a trip over to the Pearl District. Plenty of craft brewing establishments BridgePort BrewPub, 10 Barrel Brewing and Fat Head's Brewery. Sisters of the Road Cafe, Nossa Familia Coffee and Barista for coffee in the Pearl. Piazza Italia for dinner. Don't miss the food cart pod at 9th. Ride the Portland Streetcar for an inexpensive and totally local overview of the area. NW 23rd is another cool area of town. Stop by Papa Haydn for a shared dessert.

Favorite breweries (and local 'hot spots'): Hair of the Dog Brewing Co and Burnside Brewing Co.
Best restaurants: Burrasca and Harvest at The Bindery
If you're planning on going to Voodoo Doughnuts, my advice is to skip it and head to Blue Star Donuts instead!
