Katie from Los Angeles asked

Best free things to do in Port Willunga?

I'm going to be in Port Willunga next month and will be on a pretty tight budget. I'm looking for the best free and inexpensive things to check out! I love the outdoors, art, museums, you name it. Thanks!

Port Willunga (Australia)

Enjoy the beach - there is a walking track that takes you along the cliffs and another that goes to the ruins of the old policeman's house Port Willunga

Eat at Star of Greece - the kiosk is cheaper.

Grab takeaway Indian food from Aldinga Bay Cafe and eat it down on Port Willy beach.

Wineries nearby with free tastings include cradle of hills wines (you need to book though), Sellicks Hill Wines

Visit the Victory Hotel don't miss the wine cellar. They have great food and a view especially at sunset

Drive along the coast road to the new Buddhist Goddess Temple towards Myponga

Go to Smiling Samoyed Brewery for beer and pizza

Don't miss the saturday morning Willunga Farmers Market and there is plenty to see in Willunga including a Slate Museum, Galleries, cafe's & a great wine bar on Friday nights fall from grace

There are more than 70 cellar doors in McLaren Vale plus amazing places to eat. Don't miss S.C. Pannell
