Heading to Philadelphia and I'm looking for the best restaurants to try while I'm visiting. Open to all types of food! What are your top places to eat?
The Blue Duck- it's in the Northeast, but is an excellent spot for center city food for suburban prices. I love it especially for brunch. It's BYOB and has a very relaxed ambiance.
Call ahead for reservations because there's not much worthwhile nearby.

Another great question! I'll narrow this to my top 7: The Capital Grille, Devon's Deliveries, Ocean Prime, and IX (19) located in the Bellevue. If you love great food and a view, R2L. IX also has pretty views.
If you like a small restaurant but very big in quality/food, I recommend Sampan(Asian fusion). Enjoy your visit!

Zorba's Tavern is a great spot for delicious Greek gyro. Their tzatziki sauce is phenomenal and their pita is on point. I also would suggest trying their Greek coffee. It has really great outdoor seating near the Eastern State Penitentiary
I love Fat Salmon on Walnut street in Washington Square Park for great sushi. I suggest making a reservation because I have had to wait on a Tuesday before.
Good Dog Bar has an incredible burger that is injected with roquefort cheese. Also, order their baked mac & cheese.
Zavino has incredible pizza and all pasta in made in house.
Little Nonna's is an order Italian restaurant (the ambiance is amazing). They have white mushroom arancini balls with truffle oil. If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be those.
Hope that is helpful :)

Garces Trading Company has very good tapas and a wine store in the restaurant instead of paying high by the glass prices.
I also love Reading Terminal Market but always get the Cajun food. And, I bring home Apple and Apricot butters from the Amish stand every trip.
Federal Donuts which has several locations around the city is a do not miss! I bring their fried chicken and donuts back to NYC from Philadelphia - it's that good (they can't believe it).
Han Dynasty Han Dynasty - multiple locations - excellent Chinese food.
