Kirsty from London asked

Where can I buy Harry Potter books in French, in Paris?

Hi, I'm going to be in Paris for 3 days in June and I want to buy the Harry Potter books in French, where can I buy them? Is there a French version of Waterstones? haha, or does anyone know the equivalent book shop?

Thanks!

I found some being sold by the little book vendors along the Seine, I think heading towards Notre-Dame de Paris, so very central. They were cheaper than what I paid on amazon as well.

My favorite place to buy French books in Paris is at Librairie Galignani on Rue de Rivoli. It's a lovely shop, Rivoli is a classic street to stroll down after, and then you can read your new purchases in the Tuileries outside the Louvre!

Hi Katie! As Elliot said  GIBERT JEUNE - Librairie «Grands Boulevards» should have them otherwise you can go to Librarie Galiagni or any FNAC in Paris and they should have them! Hope that helps.

Everywhere!! Harry Potter books are translated and published by Gallimard Jeunesse so you will find them anywhere books are sold.. Fnac Gare de l'Est, Galeries Lafayette HommeLibrairie Eyrolles on Boulevard St.Germain etc... and even on Amazon and have them sent to your hotel!

What a great idea! I love buying my favorite books in French when I go to Paris. GIBERT JEUNE - Librairie «Grands Boulevards» is a huge bookstore. They have a huge children's section, and I would suspect that they have the Harry Potter books.

I once bought one at a book stall on the Seine, near Hôtel de Ville.
