What to do in Paris on New Years 2016/2017?

Hi.  I'm traveling to Paris with my wife for New Years this year.  We both have never been there.  Looking for an activity on NYE that's not too touristy / annoying.  Have a moderate ($$$) budget.  Thanks!

Celebrating New year in Paris is a really romantic plan with your partner. Well if you want to explore this beautiful city on budget you can go with the following ideas –

  1. Accommodations –  you can save a lot if you spend your money wisely especially when it comes where to stay on budget? You can opt for either short term serviced apartments or hostels. Likewise, it is possible to find great deals on Airbnb,, and many more.
  2. Where to eat? – Well you can go for Crepe Stands (available everywhere in the center of Paris) they provide you with perfect meals under €10.00.
  3. Free places to visit -  looking forward for free places to visit, you can go to

Ride the Metro Subway to the Trocadero station at night. When you come up to ground level, you will be treated with one of the world's great views. The Eiffel Tower glows brightly.

Get back on the Metro Green Line and get off a few stops later at the Charles de Gaulle Étoile. You will be treated to an amazing view of L'Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile. From there you can walk down Paris most important boulevard the Champs-Élysées to the Place de la Concorde .

Read about using the Paris Metro before you go. It is the best way to get around Paris.
