HI Jason, it depends on your budget of course but here are a couple of stylish and moderately priced places

    Hotel Therese

    Hotel Des Grandes Ecoles

    Hôtel Mayet

    Hôtel des Saints Pères**** Paris

I also have a few more suggestions in my blog (which specialises in boutique hotels) here : http://fromthepoolside.com/5-stylish-paris-hotels-reasonable-prices/

    Hope it helps

Hôtel Louis 2****, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, situated close to several metro stations, is a little haven of charm and light that offers all the comfort of a four-star hotel, with the character of a Parisian home.

For more of my recommendations, see the sourcebook on my blog.

    6th arrondissement of Paris

Not sure what your budget is, but I thought Hotel Du Cadran was in a very good spot and quite good value for the price. The hotel rooms are small (but that's the case pretty much everywhere in Paris) but they're modern and functional. Given the location, they're also reasonably quiet at night. There are a lot of bars nearby but they quieten down in time to have a good night's sleep.

By Républiquethere's Hotel International. If you book well, you can get a double room for €55. Yes, it's a 2 star but it was clean, nice and on a quiet street so it made the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the city.

Just a clarification that Republique is not really central. However it's a major tube station with connections to many lines so you could still get to many places quickly but not by foot. · (0 likelikes)

Oops, a bit too used to 'centrally located' for London and New York and places. I didn't mind the walk but I suppose others would! · (0 likelikes)
