I'll be traveling to Panama City Beach, FL, and would like to know what are the best activities, and places to eat. Overall, I need to know what not to miss. My husband and I will be with our 12 and 9 year old children.
If you happen to have any advice on how to save $ on excursions, I would appreciate that advice too!
(We have a hotel, so we don't need to know about where to stay.)
Our two favorite places to eat are Angelo's Steak Pit and Hunt's Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant. Additionally, Shuckums, Dusty's, Saltwater Grill, Bayou On The Beach, Dee's Hangout, Uncle Ernie's Bayfront Grill, Billy's Oyster Bar, and Boon Docks Restaurant are all good too. For breakfast, go to Another Broken Egg, Andy's Flour Power Cafe & Bakery, or Mike's Diner. Don't miss Thomas Donut & Snack Shop but go early. For fun, we normally do go carts, putt putt, and the Coconut Creek Mini Golf and Gran Maze. Last year, we went to Wonderworks and Ripley's Believe It Or Not and my kids 12 and 10 had a blast. Pier Park is a huge yet busy shopping, movie, dave and buster's, and fun place to go. Recently, Miracle Strip at Pier Park has reopened there but I haven't personally been but their facebook pics look like fun. Hope this helps.

The Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise is really awesome. The kids (and you) will love it!
One of the best places for families is Pier Park. You'll find a place for the kids to play, stores and places to eat, like 5 guys and Back Porch. Don't forget to check the popcorn store Popcorn Kingdom, they have over 50 flavors and is really delicious!
