Love the beach and have heard good things about Ogunquit, Maine. Two adults and miniature poodle looking for a reasonably priced beachfront hotel. Any suggestions? Any hotels/motels cater to the 55 year old and older market?

Here is a place I would suggest. It is not beach front but in the center of Ogunquit. Plenty of areas to walk dogs such as Marginal Way Walkway. The people are very friendly and the rooms are clean. You can take a trolley to the beach which is about 1/2 mile from the hotel. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Be sure to visit Wells Beach in the morning before the crowds hit the beach and you can even bring your dog. Walk down the Breakwater near Wells Beach and don't forget to hit the Scoop Deck for an ice cream in Wells for the best selection (over 50 choices). I hope you enjoy your trip. Ogunquit is one of my favorite places!
