What would kids like to do in NYC on a weekend trip?

What are some kid friendly activities for a weekend trip (Friday - Monday) with four little girls ages 4-7?

Hi Julie! Probably visit Central Park Zoo and walk a bit into the many attractions for kids that Central Park West offers such as Central Park Carousel, Alice in Wonderland, Balto Statue, Belvedere Castle. You can borrow a discovery kit for an in-park adventure (offered throughout the park).  Backpacks are filled with kid-friendly binoculars, hand lens and sketch paper and crayons. Not sure if they are too small to visit a museum however one of the biggest attractions of the American Museum of Natural History (literally), is the 94-foot-long blue whale. I am sure they will love it!! I will also add a visit to the few nice stores in Times Square such as M&M's World, TOYS"R"US and obviously don't forget to take them to FAO Schwarz located pretty close to former The Plaza.

Hope this helps when programming the agenda!!

Saludos,

My daughter-who visited NYC at ages 7 and 8(last two summers)-LOVED Central Park Zoo, Build-A-Bear Workshop,The Hershey's Times SquareWashington Square Park in the evening, and the Broadway musical Matilda. There is also an enormous American Girl Place if your girls are interested in dolls. She also loved FAO Schwarz last year but unfortunately it is now closed. Hope you can find fun stuff for everybody!
