Top things to do that are free and not free in NYC?

Hi

I have a trip for a month to NYC between late may and late june. I would be at central park that is in the center of everything, have to study PMI for a month.

Would love to eat great food in restaurants, go to opera, listen to jazz, take a drink or 2 drinks. Visit best touristic places in NYC and Brooklyn.

If you could give tips of great things to do would be great

All the best,

Andy

Hola Andres! Lucky you!!! The Pond, Central Park - Sheep Meadow, Strawberry Fields, Belvedere Castle, The Loeb Boathouse Central Park (mis favoritas). Puedes visitar tambien el The Metropolitan Museum of Art y el American Museum of Natural History. Muchas opciones deliciosas.

Enjoy the city!! Pura vida!!!

Since you're near Central Park, you have to go to Yakitori Totto - go when they open otherwise you'll have to wait for a seat. Oh, and if you run into Bourdain, be cool.Check the Summerstage calendar too - it's the venue IN Central Park and I think most of the concerts are free (double check that tho)!

Hi Andres,

There are already many tips on Trippy to enjoy your stay in NYC. But to be short : Rockefeller Center to admire the city of NYC on a sunny day, walk in Central Park (and sometimes there are dancers in the park), of course enjoy a night in Times Square and go to a musical, take the boat to Staten Island and admire The Statue of Liberty while cruising, have a burger, have a typical breakfast, etc.

If you want something more unsual and meet locals, there are many startups such as BubbleGlobe, Trip4real or Vayable offering you the opportunity to visit NYC in a unusual way with locals. They even might give you more tips to enjoy the city.

Have a nice stay in NYC :)
