Tips for traveling to New York with my dog?

Hi, this is the first time to visit New York. Since I think the city seems to be very crowded, I'm worried taking my dog on the trip. Any tips?

There are a number of dog-friendly restaurants around the city. My favorite include Soho Park, Jack's Wife Freda and Spring Street Natural in SoHo. There's also Boat Basin Café - a great spot for grabbing drinks and some grub right on the water in the Upper West Side. Momofuku Milk Bar always have dog treats for non-human visitors and Shake Shack has doggie sundaes! Central Park and Prospect Park (in Brooklyn) are super dog friendly too.

You can ride the subway with your dog, most people with small dogs do (not sure if you have a smaller or larger dog). And I've never had any issues taking my dog in a cab or Uber!

Happy to give some extra suggestions/tips if you need them!

There are plenty of outdoor cafes where your dog gcan sit by your side.  Many major hotels are pet friendly so long as you make advance request.
