Suggestions for Broadway and off-Broadway show

Do You have any recommendations for a Broadway and or off-Broadway show that would be a must-see for a first timer in New York city this November 2014?

Sleep No More in Chelsea is incredible.  Immersive theater at its best.

Then She Fell in the same line as sleep no more but more structured.

My favorite is "The Fantasticks" which is now playing at the Snapple Theater Center (which is bizarre to me because it used to only play at a theater way downtown).

If you're going to be there in August you might want to try to see "The Maids" with Cate Blanchett, although I've heard the prices are ridiculous--like $700 a ticket or something like that. I think Neil Patrick Harris is still in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" if you're a fan of his.

Have a blast!

Phantom of the Opera is a must see! It's Broadway's longest running musical (for over 25 years), and is still a really nice one.

There are so many great shows out now. On Broadway, "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" is fabulous and won best musical this year. Audra MacDonald is amazing in "Lady Day" and "Hedwig & the Angry Inch" is great too it feels like a rock concert.

For Off Broadway, "Stomp" and "Avenue Q" are classics. "Sleep No More" is a fun interactive experience. if you have kids, you can't beat the "Bubble Show"

Hope that helps.

Definitely check out Kinky Boots! Hedwig and the Angry Inch was great, too, but it won't be the same without Neil Patrick Harris.
