Road trip with children in New York/Toronto

I'm planning a road trip around the New York area to Toronto, I'm travelling with 2 kids age 9 any suggested stops? I love geology so Toronto Badlands is on the list!

New York City (New York)   New York State (New York)   Toronto (Canada)

Stop by the Devil's Punchbowl Conservation Area! Sight to see for sure!

On the way from New York City a stop at Niagara Falls can't be beat. In Toronto the CN Tower will be a thrill. The Toronto Zoo is fun. St. Lawrence Market on a Saturday is entertaining. Get peameal sandwiches for the full experience. Catching a Blue Jays ballgame at Rogers Centre is pretty popular with the nine year olds I know.

The first thing that comes to mind is  Niagara Falls! If you or your kids haven't seen it, it's a must! The Giacomo is a great, fun place to stay.
