Manhattan Beach
I'm going to Manhattan for business but will have the chance to take in a couple of dinners. Are there any new places that I should try? Any food type or budget. Would love to try a place that is doing something different and cool. Thanks!!
If you like Thai, check out Uncle Boons in Nolita which opened a couple years ago. Creative menu with nice selection of small plates, large plates and sides to share. Pretty funky and unique inside too. Enjoy!
Mission Chinese Food is a cuisine onto itself despite calling itself a "Chinese" restaurant, Momofuku Milk Bar (get a crack pie), Má Pêche (get a pork bun). Some people will tell you to try Blackseed Bagel, but I thought it wasn't very good at all, and neither did my dining companion - if you want a real NYC bagel, the best in the world is (and this is not "new" or in any way "cool"), go to EssaBagel. If you've never tried Korean Fried Chicken, find any of the places in NYC that make it. VERY addicting. I liked BonChon Chicken - get 1/2 sweet soy and half spicy wings. There are others like Kyochon Manhattan too.

Hello JR! I have a few suggestions of different type of restaurants in New York City. ABC Kitchen, Eataly, Gramercy Tavern, Craft, Smith & Wollensky, The Spotted Pig, Maialino, The Irish Pub, Maison, Fresh & Co, Shake Shack, Grimaldi's and Le Pain Quotidien. Different options for different tastes!!
Hope this helps!!
