Bar recommendations close to One If By Land Two If By Sea

My husband and I are celebrating our 11th Anniversary Friday night and are eating at one if by land, two if by sea. Can anyone suggest some places to go to afterwards for some cocktails? Thank you!!

Hi Carrie. You'll be in the West Village which is a really charming neighborhood filled with bar options. Not knowing what you're into I'll suggest a few:

Wilfie & Nell is a high-energy, hip pub-like bar that's mostly 20-30 somethings half in the bag. Depending on my mood it's really fun or...not. But it's a pretty cool place.
The Other Room is very pretty, darkly lit and romantic.
Employees Only was one of the first "speakeasies" of the now-ubiquitous speakeasy trend, but it is a chic place with a great cocktail menu. No sign, so look for the bouncer and usually a fortune teller sitting in the window. Not joking.
Little Branch is another speakeasy. Cute, tiny, hidden. Can have lines.

And if you want a club scene, head over to Meatpacking and try to get into the bar on top of the Hotel Gansevoort or Top of the Standard in the Standard Hotel Roof Top Bar. Have fun!
