As everyone else has already stated:  Café du Monde for the lovely beignets.  Am a huge fan of bread pudding with a lovely bourbon sauce, most places will have this on the menu.  We love Po-Boy sandwiches-especially with fried oysters.  Do not miss crawfish etoufe, shrimp and sausage gumbo or shrimp creole, BBQ shrimp. Love cajun/creole food!  Also try Juan's Flying BurritoAcme Oyster House and EVERYTHING Josh recommended.  Check out Frenchmen Street for some music.  Have fun!
