Justin from South Lake Tahoe asked

Photogenic locations in the Netherlands?

I'm going to be in the Netherlands and want to put my camera to good use. I'll be starting in Amsterdam where I'll rent a car and make my way to The Hague and Rotterdam but I also want to drive to other parts of the country.  What are some awesome spots that are good for photography?  I mostly shoot landscapes but I'm open for other suggestions!

Netherlands   Amsterdam   The Hague   Rotterdam

Here are some urban and industrial suggestions for the Rotterdam Area:

Kop van Zuid in Rotterdam (some people call this "Manhattan of the Maas")

Hidden house in a Garden in Parklaan

Maastunnel (tunnel for cars, cyclists and pedestrians under the river Maas)

Heijplaat, a place where they used to build ships

The old city of Leiden

Delft

For landscapes and nature I suggest you check out this site http://www.frankwandelt.nl/. It's a site by a guy who collects the best hiking routes, and writes about his experiences. (There is a translate to English button at the top).

@Carter W. Good that you like it :) I'm an Interaction Designer (designing interfaces), but I like photography.

Zaanse Schans (15 minute train ride from Amsterdam Centraal and easy walk from station). Hoorn and Alkmaar are great too. Delft is lovely. Since you’ll have a car you may want to make the drive to Bruges, it’s gorgeous!
