Does it make sense to book a hotel by the airport if we want to do Bluebird Cafe, Grand Ol Oprey and such?
The heart of Nashville is not any where close to the airport.. You will miss so much of you are there.. Take Uber or Lyft to venues.. They are great.. Stay in town. Downtown.. The Gultch. Even Green Hills is better than the airport..
Hi Jane! I'd recommend a hotel in downtown Nashville (Broadway area). You will have easy access to the airport plus much, much more. Plan to visit Franklin (Tennessee) (just south of Nashville) as well as Leiper's Fork Distillery!

Yes you can, Uber is cheap there and easy... Hotel Preston is pretty nice and is also cheap near the airport.
