What's a nice and inexpensive inn in the Napa area?
We normally stay at the Embassy Suites Napa Valley in Napa. Great location to get up north from the village, and into downtown as well. Usually reasonably priced. They have recently remodeled and the rooms are comfortable with a nice amount of space. The courtyard is cozy with ponds and swans swimming around. Might not be the local flavor B&B, but it has always been a great spot!
The River Terrace Inn Napa was centrally located and well run. Very nice accommodations and you can request a river side room with a balcony.
Are you looking for a hotel, or more of a B&B? If you're just looking for an inexpensive hotel, I've stayed a few times at Chardonnay Lodge, which is definitely on the more inexpensive side for Napa, but they do make the effort to make the place feel more rustic than the old motel it used to be.
