In Montreal we have a few good spots for skating eder outside or in. First, in  oldOld Port of Montreal where you' ll find an outdoors skating rink near the old Clock Tower. Then there is on Île Sainte-Hélène where you can skate on the 1976 Olympics regata bassin. On the Mont Royalnear Beaver Lake The skating rink is most amasing.  For inside skating, try the 1001 Rue de la Gauchetière O.

You can also slide on the slops of Beaver lake on the Mount Royal.

For more info go on the city wedsite outside activities.  Naturaly, all depends on the weather...

Parc Jean Drapeau has every winter-related sport or activity you could ever think of. Skating, sledding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and even a giant Ferris wheel. It also happens to be really beautiful as well.

Parc Jean-Drapeausets up an ice village with an ice restaurant & ice hotel as well as many kids' activities in the vicinity. They have a full host of activities under their festival Montreal Snow Festival http://www.parcjeandrapeau.com/en/fete-des-neiges-de-montreal/

Mont Tremblantis most famous but 2 hours away
