What to do for 2 nights in Montreal next week?

What should a Dad do with his 3 late-teen and 20-something kids for 2 days in Montreal next week? They are very interested in night life and possibly sightseeing during the day.

Montreal (Canada)

The festival quarter (around Place des arts metro station) is always a good bet in the summertime. Lots going on outdoors usually, and good Pokemon hunting at the jardin gamely ;-) The Plateau area is great for walking around, seeing a lot of mural art and unique shops and cafes, as well as the characteristic architecture with twisty outdoor staircases.

In terms of nightlife, the younger folks mostly prefer the bars on St. Laurent, while middle aged people gather on Crescent Street. Lots of live music going on in little bars like Dièse Onze Jazz clubUpstairs Jazz Bar & GrillQuai Des BrumesCasa Del PopoloLa Sala Rossa...

Montreal also has great craft beer available, in lots of microbreweries like Dieu du Ciel, 3 Brasseurs, and more.

Cirque de soleil Luzia show is still on. There's a zip line in the old Port and a climbing obstacle course that looks amazing. If they like music, piknik electronik is on Sunday's and is a great outdoor daytime dance party and picnic. Enjoy !
