Yummy, eat Cuban Puerto Sagua Restaurant; and Tap Tap Haitian Restaurant. The Miami Children's Museum is oddly fun, with or without kiddos.

Take a stroll all along Lincoln Road Mall, window shop if you like and refresh yourself al fresco at one of this pedestrian-only mall's many cafes. Tour the campus of the New World Symphony, catching a concert if one is scheduled while you're in town.
The Wolfsonian-Florida International University uncommon collection of propaganda arts merits a visit, along with the celebrated, though seasonal Joe's Stone Crab for dinner or lunch. Plenty of other restaurants to consider, depending upon your desired cuisine, but savor some selection of Latin-American, as there are so many to choose from...

South beach ? You can't miss Smith & Wollensky - Miami Beach for meat lovers. Good food, nice view but a little expensive. Another good choice for pasta lovers is the Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante restaurant.
