Itinerary Advice please!

I've made the below itinerary and wondered if anyone suggested any amendments or if you think certain parts aren't feasible.

Fly into Cancun (2 nights), taxi to hotel.

ADO bus to Playa del Carmen (2 nights)

ADO bus to Tulum (3 nights)

ADO bus from Tulum to Chetumal, taxi from ADO Station in Chetumal to Municipal Dock (to get boat for San Pedro), then water taxi from Chetumal to San Pedro.

Stay in Ambergris Caye in Belize (4 nights)

Water taxi to Caye Caulker (2 nights)

Water taxi to Belize City then transfer to Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge - how?

Transfer to San Ignacio - how?

Transfer to Flores (Guatemala) - how?

Travel down to Antigua (Guatemala) - best to fly?

We fly back to UK via Miami from GUA.

I would rather stay in Playa del Carmen for four nights then stay in Cancun. We just got back and did both, Cancun is a tourist nightmare. Every restaurant is like eating at Disney.  The only thing enjoyable was the luxury hotel, so we could have just stayed in Playa.

In Playa, you can stay at a hotel in walking distance of the little town, we just stayed at the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort and it was great. There's also a little restaurant group right beside the Hyatt, we ate breakfast there every morning at La Memorable Playa del Carmen If you wanted to walk into town for dinner, it's a five minute walk, then when you are at the hotel it's like a little oasis.

I also stayed at the Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa last year, it's a resort, so you stay there the whole time and maybe take a shuttle to Playa one day.  Depends on if you like to chill out or keep busy.

Service is incredible in Mexico and hotels are so reasonable.

The same goes for Ambergris Caye, I would rather stay in San Pedro and day trip to Caye Caulker.  San Pedro has more restaurant choices.  Fry Jacks Estel's Dine By the Sea Ecuadorian ceviche Wild Mangos

Chicken, rice and beans El Fogon Restaurant

And if you only do one thing! Lobster burrito Waruguma San Pedro Belize

If you like hot sauce, Marie Sharp's is from Belize, pick up some for gifts, you can get it on the internet, but a small bottle in Belize is a two dollars, it's five everywhere else plus shipping!

In Belize, if you like wine, buy it in duty free at the airport.  There is one wine shop and it is ridiculously expensive.  And one very important piece of information, if you happen to fly in or out of Belize City, you have to have a rum punch Jet's Bar it's in the rule book.

Hey, I'm pretty sure there are shuttles that can take to the above locations. The bus and private cars might be your best bet! I would check here for bus locations!
