Help me finish my itinerary please :)

Hi all,

I have completed the first half of my 8 week South/Central America journey. I need some assistance to finish the second half. I would like to spend this time in Mexico and Guatemala ("must go" places include Mexico City, Tulum, Oaxaca, somewhere on Lake Atitlan and Antigua)

We love quaint villages and coastal towns.

We are also open to booking in a short tour during this time if anyone has any suggestions.

My partners and my interests includes food; immersing ourselves into different cultures; meeting like-minded travellers; music, sightseeing and I love a good market. Budget: Mid range-low.

Any accommodation or restaurant suggestions would also be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mia ! Coming from México, Tulum you can get in Guatemala visiting Tikal(ancient mayan city), Monumento Natural Semuc Champey(natural water pools and caves), Chichicastenango (great indigenous market), Lago de Atitlan(most beautiful lake in the world!) and Antigua of course.  This order could be the best to do coming from México.   Enjoy Guatemala!

Tulum is amazing! It's small, no hotels built higher than the palm trees! The ruins are a must see. Both in Tulum and Coba (only 30 min drive) are great! We stayed Cabañas La Luna and really liked it there. There is great food in Tulum! Try Posada MargheritaMezzanineHartwood. We booked a day trip with Edventure tour. It was perfect! ENJOY!!
