Day of the Dead festival

Hey everyone,

Me and my fiance are wanting to book our honeymoon to Mexico in October 2018, and want it to coincide with the day of the dead festival celebrations at the end of the month and into November. We want somewhere a bit luxurious, and chilled out, but close to the celebrations.

Any help would be amazing as we don't know Mexico at all!

Can you be more specific. Do you want cultural, sea and sand?

I have been to almost every corner of Mexico

Look at Playa del CarmenIsla Mujeres, and Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. Merida is too far but is the capital of the Yucatán

Mexico Citywould be best for this celebration. Look at Cuernavaca too but harder to get to. Bus from Mexico City.
