We’re leaving Menifee CA the same time my brother is leaving Portland Oregon for mt rushmore. How can we connect on the road to enjoy some sightseeing before arriving in mt rushmore

If you get on I-15 near Menifee and your brother takes I-84 west then I-15 south from Portland you could meet up in Salt Lake City then travel together via I-80 west > 287 > I-25 north > 259 >387>450 >16 to Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
